In the first bout of the UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem facebook undercard broadcast, Danny Castillo won a split decision over Anthony Njokuani. Castillo was able to capture two of the three scorecards 29-28 using his wrestling to smother the striking of Njokuani.

Anthony wasn't without his moments though as he was able to do effective work in the striking department, especially in the second round when he was able to unleash a flurry that hurt Castillo. Njokuani also showed much improved wrestling and defense on the ground.

What was the high spot of this fight?

Njokuani's flurry in the second round was probably the most interesting moment of the fight.

Where do these guys go from here?

Castillo was booed for his strategy and has never been the most exciting fighter to watch so I don't expect him to get elevated too high up the card.

Njokuani is a crowd pleaser when he's against the right opponent, I don't imagine he'll go anywhere after this loss.

Watch it now, later or never?

Later. It's an interesting style clash but Castillo was not fighting in a way that was pleasing to the eye.

I was interested in the fight

because Castillo grinding out a decision was good for me from a BECW perspective, but without that motivation, I’d have a hard time recommending it to anyone. Castillo did a fine job of preventing a fight from breaking out.
