BVandDietPepsi - January 27, 2012
Prelims will be on fuel.
Saul Oliveros - January 27, 2012
Anon pending
Balrog - January 27, 2012
Well thank god nothing interesting happened during the weigh-ins
Would’ve been a shame if we’d missed out on Apple Crumble levels of BE comments.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
the only thing I wanted to say was how extremely weird phil davis’s body is… haha
NickaG - January 27, 2012
He looks like a superhero.
Saul Oliveros - January 27, 2012
What the heck happened anyway?
That was weird…
Andy Anderson - January 27, 2012
Brent Brookhouse tweeted this an hour ago: SBN is having some technical issues, we’re working on getting it fixed
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
bummer
glad it is fixed. i was worried anon was busy with lulz
Andy Anderson - January 27, 2012
The talking during the weigh ins is such inane bullshit. Much better without the stupid unnecessary commentary
StevenGiles - January 27, 2012
Yup
Kenny Florian is not a very fluent host anyway, and why did Glazer have to talk on top of Joe Rogan when Rogan announced the fighters?
Also: starved of BE, I took to Twitter to see what Fagan had to say. Apart from “Phil Davis opts for the child rapist uniform.” I really liked
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
All the stuff about Einemo. “He’s so big” “He’s good at ju jitsu” “He’s quick for such a big man” “He’s one of the best out there” What the fuck? Just shut up!!!!!
StevenGiles - January 27, 2012
Wait
So he said they’re in “Chai Town”? That kinda sounds it’d be a cafe near UCLA or something.
bustachong - January 27, 2012
offtopic, but of vital interest to the BE community

Hahahah
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
this is definitely important to me
Andy Anderson - January 27, 2012
Hashad looked exhausted as fuck and a little softer than usual.
BVandDietPepsi - January 27, 2012
he was a little soft compared to the tito fight
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
YOU'RE A LITTLE SOFT COMPA....
…oh…sorry, not used to being agreed with, Hatey.
BVandDietPepsi - January 27, 2012
Beltran came in at 228? Jesus.
I’m a Beltran guy and have been even before the UFC, but he needs to at least make a test cut to 205.
Then again, HW is thin and there’s always room for big guys that can brawl.
BVandDietPepsi - January 27, 2012
Why would he go to 205?
He’s not very technical and he’s got the two skills necessary to cut it in the UFC HW division: a good chin and decent cardio.
He came in at 228 because he stopped eating fast food every day and switched to brown rice, spinach, turkey and chicken, btw, at least as per his interview with the mermaid.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
That’s why I said a test, just to see how he’d look/feel.
Like I said, I’m a Beltran guy, but coming into the cage against guys that are gonna outweigh him by 60 pounds doesn’t exactly give him a competitive advantage, even if he can scrap with them.
BVandDietPepsi - January 27, 2012
How many heavyweights cut 20+ pounds to make the 265 limit? I agree that he would get crushed by the Overeem’s and the Bigfoot’s of the division, but I don’t think 20 pounds of beer gut would help him in that regard.
I could definitely see him making 205 but I don’t really see how his skillset and style of fighting would translate into anything other than losses. He’s got relatively quick hands for the HW division but that would be gone at 205 leaving him with a plodding, brawling style, a barely passable ground game and an adamantium chin (which might suffer from the cut).
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
no chance
beltran gets smoked at 205, hes not nearly talented enough.
beltran should totally stay at hw where the talent isnt as good and he can fight guys with penis joke nicknames
milk72 - January 27, 2012
Yeah i know it was mentioned
but it is pronounced Shy-town not Chai-town, Glazer you mook
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
Maybe he got confused by Phil Davis’ latte muscles.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
lol man, you corny!
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
they need to fix audio or timing on weigh-ins having florian glazer and rogan talk out once is a mess
MaZZacare - January 27, 2012
They just need to get rid of Glazer and Florian
they add nothing
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
Tend to disagree
To us they add nothing but to a casual viewer flipping by Fuel TV (or wait, does anyone watch Fuel TV even by chance if they’re not UFC fans?), they provide a bit of context.
I’d like to see them do a weigh-in show with NO talking during the weigh-ins but a brief summary of the fights before and after.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
that could be doable
them talking over Rogan and everyone else is abysmal and bush league.
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
this is a good idea
milk72 - January 27, 2012
What I wish would have happened to Glazer and Florian before the weigh in broadcast =
Earl Montclair - January 27, 2012
I can't stop watching this
It’s glorious.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
uhh… there’s a good chance that guy is dead or has serious head trauma.
Hendo_One-Shot - January 27, 2012
Yeah, but logic-defying as it may be, me watching the gif 100 times in a row doesn’t inflict 100 more blows the guy’s head.
Anyway, your screen name reminds me of another gif that people like to watch over and over again …
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
You are correct, but you watching the gif 100 times and enjoying it makes you 100 times more of a sick fucker.
Hendo_One-Shot - January 27, 2012
It's not on the Internet to promote flying semi door awareness...
Zachary Kater - January 27, 2012
That... And who has conversations in the middle of intersections
Let’s talk put here on the middle of the street what’s the worst that can happen ?
RECE ROCK - January 27, 2012 via mobile
Way to go Earl!
Now Hendo and Mr. Spam here are fighting
jthin - January 27, 2012
The interview with Bisping and Sonnen was WWE ish
Can’t stand either one of those dudes. Hopefully its a double ko and Paul Harris gets the next shot at Anderson.
fightersvizion - January 27, 2012 via mobile
And kids...
that is the story of why Anderson Silva will never walk again.
Andy Anderson - January 27, 2012
i don't think Palhares
would even be able to get close enough to Anderson to clinch. It would look like Silva-Forrest IMO.
The Lethal Haze - January 27, 2012
I agree.
Paul Harris instead of these thunder cunts.
rawr. - January 27, 2012
Well that was a mess. On several fronts
Our Bovine Public - January 27, 2012
Two points:
1. Glazer and Florian need to stop talking over Rogan. Felt like I was watching TV with my family who routinely talks over movies.
2. Cannot….take….my eyes….off….Brittney……
INGO B - January 27, 2012
I went to the weigh-ins today...
And I won’t lie, my eyes stayed transfixed on Brit’s general sexiness.
As a plus, the brother behind me LOVES him some Chandella.
The Hamburger Pimp - January 27, 2012 via mobile
Oh yeah...
…Chandella is no slouch, either. Love her, too.
INGO B - January 27, 2012
I can't lie, they all looked pretty good in person.
The Hamburger Pimp - January 27, 2012 via mobile
Brittney
Rod Mapada - January 27, 2012
I wonder if Do Bronx cut at all to make Lightweight...
Since he weighed in 2 pounds under the Featherweight limit, or if they just wanted to make sure he made weight…
crazedfan - January 27, 2012
IIRC
He only cut a few pounds (around 5?) to make the 155 limit.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
He still looks small, even for 145
He needs to be put on a weight training program.
crazedfan - January 27, 2012
And while we're on the subject
Nik Lentz looks small for 155 also, I bet he could make Featherweight easily…
crazedfan - January 27, 2012
Being able to make a lower weight =/= being better at a lower weight.
wonderfulspam - January 27, 2012
True, especially if you have a tough cut
But if Dunham beats him and Lentz wants to stick around, I think they might make him cut down…
crazedfan - January 27, 2012
he looked soooo thin in person today.
