As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC on Fox 2. Our live coverage will start with the Fuel TV prelim broadcast (5 p.m. ET) and through the Fox main card broadcast (8 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.
This post will cover live results and thoughts for the main card on Fox.
Three fights make up the UFC's second effort on its network home with the main event seeing light heavyweight contenders Rashad Evans and Phil Davis facing off in a five round fight. Two of the biggest trash talkers in the sport meet in the co-main event when Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping meet for a shot at UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. In the opening bout on the broadcast it will be former title contender Demian Maia meeting top prospect Chris Weidman.

Demian Maia vs. Chris Weidman - Round 1 - Maia misses with an overhand left and comes up short with a second one. Front kick to the face missed by Weidman. Maia is ducking and throwing the left hand counter but neither guy landing too solid. Knee lands for Maia. They're still kind of feeling things out through two minutes of the fight with neither guy really doing a lot of damage. Left hand by Maia. Weidman gets a nice punch in of his own now. Body kick by Weidman is blocked. They trade leg kicks. Left hand gets in for Maia. Weidman gets a takedown. Maia quickly stands up and lands some punches before slipping. Weidman hits him with a punch on the way up. They're clinched up now. Right hand by Weidman. 10-9 Weidman on my card, but close.
Round 2 - Weidman gets a takedown and is in side control but Maia manages to stand right up. Left hand by Maia. Weidman is looking better and better in the stand-up here. This is not a very exciting fight and the crowd is booing the (lack of) action. Now they trade leg kicks and go back to walking forward. Maia now picking it up and starting to work jabs, left hands and knees. Weidman with a takedown. 10-9 Weidman.
Round 3 - Weidman seemed like he was going for the takedown early but now they're striking again. Weidman gets the takedown. Maia holds the body and stands up. Uppercut by Maia. Maia with a horrible takedown attempt. Maia looks embarrassingly bad. Both men are tired, at least Weidman has an excuse. Weidman ands three knees in the clinch. 10-9 Weidman.
Official scorecards: 29-28 Weidman, 29-28 Maia, 29-28 Weidman. Chris Weidman wins by split decision. (Update: Dana White corrected on twitter and said Weidman won on all three cards)
Michael Bisping vs. Chael Sonnen - Round 1 - Bisping with a right hand and Chael with a quick takedown and lands a few punches before Bisping stands up. Bisping with a hard right hand. Sonnen pushes him into the fence. Bisping scoots out to distance but Chael puts him back on the cage and takes him down. Bisping tries to wall walk but Chael holding the foot. Bisping stands up but took a few shots there. They trade knees to the body and Bisping drops for his own takedown but can't get it and Chael pushes him back into the cage. Bisping separates and lands a right hand. Knee to the body by Bisping and he lands a left and misses a wheel kick. Bisping pushing Chael into the cage now. Bisping with some hard shots. Bisping still landing. I'd actually score that 10-9 Bisping for landing the most damaging shots.
Round 2 - Chael pushes Bisping into the cage and Bisping turns him. Bisping holding him against the cage and they trade short punches. They're restarted at distance for lack of action. Righ hand by Sonnen. Bisping with two right hands. Sonnen with a double leg. Sonnen with a nice flurry and Bisping manages to stand again. Left hand by Bisping. Knee to the body by Bisping. Bisping pushing him into the cage now. Bisping looking for a takedown and Sonnen can not get his back of the cage. Knee to the body by Bisping and a big uppercut. 10-9 Bisping again, I just think he's doing more to claim the rounds.
Round 3 - Left hand by Sonnen and now a double leg. Bisping already working to stand up. Bisping looking or a leg lock but gets hit with a punch. Bisping tries to stand but gives up his back. Sonnen has the hooks in. Sonnen spins around into full mount. Sonnen still in mount and trying to find space. Bisping gets out to half guard. Bisping back to full guard. Bisping manages to stand up. Bisping gets his own takedown and lands a few elbows as the round ends. 10-9 Sonnen makes it 29-28 Bisping on my card. But my card doesn't matter. What do the judges have?
Official Scorecards: 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28. Chael Sonnen wins by unanimous decision.
Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis - Round 1 - Davis circling and Rashad looking to take the center of the Octagon. Rashad misses the first right hand he throws. Leg kick by Davis. Davis slips and they end up tying up. They separate without much happening in the clinch. Davis ducks under a punch and tries for a takedown but Rashad stuffs it and tries for a choke. They separate and Evans brushes him with a punch. They trade punches and Rashad gets the better of it but neither guy really landing much of note in the exchange. Davis misses the takedown and they grapple briefly. Evans catches a kick and gets a big trip takedown. Rashad on top in Davis' half guard. Rashad passes to side control. Evans gets the mounted crucifix. Davis does get his arm free. The round ends. 10-9 Rashad.
Round 2 - Davis misses the head kick (far too high). Right hand by Evans. They clinch up. Evans pulls away. Jab by Evans, leg kick by Davis. Davis ducks uner a punch and clinches Rashad, Rashad lands a knee to the body. Right hand by Evans and he pushes Phil back into the cage. Rashad with another right hand. Jab by Rashad. Right hand and another flurry and Dais has to back off again. Right hand by Rashad lands hard. Rashad opening up again, Davis lands a knee to the body but Rashad with a right hand that lands solid. Rashad catches another kick, gets a takedown and is into side control. Mounted crucifix and Evans closes out the round with elbows. 10-9 Rashad.
Round 3 - Evans checks Davis' leg kick. Davis really trying to push for a takedown. Switching to a single leg now. Davis kind of has the takedown against the cage. Rashad ends up getting the actual takedown and is landing hard punches. Rashad tries to take the back but gives it up rather than risk position and they're standing up. Rashad has Davis against the cage. Great uppercut by Rashad. Another flurry of uppercuts. Davis manages to briefly get a takedown but Rashad stands up without ever being in danger. Davis with knees to the thigh. Davis has his back standing..well..almost has it. Davis just holding him against the cage. 10-9 Evans.
Round 4 - Davis is trying to work the jab but he's way short. Two jabs by Rashad. Good body kick by Davis. Rashad with a jab. Davis is coming up short on almost everything he throws. Rashad has the back as Davis is turtled up after a grappling exchange. Davis manages to stand up. Evans pushing Davis into the cage now. Davis drops for a takedown and Evans sprawls out. Right hand lands hard for Rashad and the round ends. 10-9 Evans.
Round 5 - Rashad catches Davis' kick and lands several hard punches before Davis falls and now Rashad is on top. Evans passes to side control and into the mounted crucifix. Davis gets out and gives up his back. Davis stands up. Big right by Rashad. Big right hand by Rashad and Davis' legs almost give out. Very hard leg kick by Evans now. Righ hand by Davis. Rashad just misses with a big uppercut and a wild right hand. Right hand by Rashad. 10-9 Rashad, clean sweep.

Well, I think Bones can easily when the striking game just based on diversity of attacks alone, but if he’s afraid of Rashad’s power, he may try to outgrapple him. While he most likely will, Rashad will probably prove difficult to finish and Bones could wear himself down in the process. But, I won’t be picking against Jon.

No, I don't think they fix fights
I think the Judges (and everyone else) thought that Sonnen would kill Bisping and they let that color their perception of the fight. (UFC judges are historically bad) And they would have been right when he was undergoing TRT. But now, he looked smaller and gassed. Maybe he didn’t prepare well for the fight, but he looked diminished from before. If he shows up in this shape, the Silva fight will be fun to watch.
