WE AREEEEEEEEEEEEE LIVE!
Matt Bishop - January 3, 2012
We are fun to talk to.
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Can you please tell me about the Hemmi-Bishop hangout?
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Did Hemminger end up doing any embarrassing rap songs at the casa de la Bishop? Anything of epic greatness?
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Experimenting with drugs and women?
and the occassional debit transaction?
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
I had a similar experience with Mass Effect 2.
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Da Hell?
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Dude, Inoki Jesus and Tiger Jeet Singh was the greatest thing EVER. Next to Chris Jericho’s return last night.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Really looking forward to..
Crucified Inoki. Finally going to see it tonight
forkboy - January 3, 2012
Never a pro wrestling fan, but the still shot alone has be interested
Already sped-watched some of the Barnett/Suzuki match, and found that entertaining.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
SPOILER!
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
Every bit as ridiculous as you could wish for.
forkboy - January 3, 2012
Yes. It was amazing.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
WTF?
Fucking wrestling.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Yeah, & then he gets assaulted by some Arab gentlemen. FOR NO DISCERNABLE REASON.
It’s pro-wrestling in a nutshell.
forkboy - January 3, 2012
What’s even weirder is that he let them get away with it. Everyone was expecting him to slap the hell out of them after whacking him with the kendo stick. But then the situation just cooled down and them calmly exited.. WTF.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
shut your whore mouth
Inoki is JMMA’s savior, hence the cross.
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
I probably care more about Sakuraba’s tag team match than Michigan State football…
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
+1
Brian Hemminger - January 3, 2012
Drew Brees is salivating
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Sorry Matt
but Green Bay were also sitting Clay Matthews & Charles Woodson. Which is the only reason that game was as close as it was, it didn’t matter to one of the teams!
forkboy - January 3, 2012
Congrats Matt!
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012

Cats are overrated, but you get at least a cardboard box and bow from me.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Football? What is this "football" you speak of?
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Fedor vs. Pedro Rizzo at ProElite. Book it.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Brother vs Brother. They already did that in Warrior.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
They already made a movie about that Brian.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
FEDOR VS LESNAR!
… in the WWE…
pud333 - January 3, 2012
PEDRO RIZZO!
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Bob sapp + Hong Man Choi vs fedor
Adam Reichental - January 3, 2012
Dan Severn is still looking for that 100th win isn't he?
forkboy - January 3, 2012
Wait for Zuffa to bounce Kharitonov?
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Fedor Vs TITO ORTIZ FTW
Adam Reichental - January 3, 2012
loser leaves town
Adam Reichental - January 3, 2012
Todd Duffee vs. Fedor.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Yeah, cause he didn't have a close brush with death already this year....
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
but I’d probably still watch thatm just to see if there was a record KO coming.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
out of work K1 guys seem like the best options
Semmy vs Fedor 2 would be fun
Thats It For you! - January 3, 2012
Maybe Bellator can sign him. Brian would love that.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
nah
I’d rather Bellator not go out of business
Brian Hemminger - January 3, 2012
Maybe they’ll finally see sense and go crawling back to Dana Whi…..I can’t even type that and not burst out laughing.
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
FEDOR VS BADR!!!
Thats It For you! - January 3, 2012
Who'd have thought that after PRIDE, Fedor would have trouble even booking a freakshow fight?
Is Kimbo doing something these days?
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Good lord, how low Hominick has fallen…
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
He might have fallen off in regards of his winning streak....
but he’s still viable, and he is going to shellack Yagin. Seems like he’s being fed a W right here.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Did you just say Hominick vs Yagin?
As in the Yagin that just got pasted by Assuncao?
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
How about Jerome Le Banner? He’s coming off two big wins against Josh Barnett and Tim Sylvia.
Wait…
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
Any questions for Ed Herman?
Matt Bishop - January 3, 2012
It's fucking sad, but I just had to google Ed Herman
to figure out who he fought last.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
I think Ed Herman should immediately stop believing that he can win rounds off his back.....
(but I do enjoy the effort he shows from there)
The judges are not yet ready for that responsibility.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
I wish more MMA fighters would realize when enough is enough.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Agreed...
and I think it’s ludicrous to blast guys for ‘quitting’ at any point of an MMA career.
If he can’t be the best (it’s certainly not for lack of effort) what more does he have to gain?
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Wait, lesnar wont be in a tittle eliminator with Kongo?
Adam Reichental - January 3, 2012
Brock could always do a few on-offs at Wrestlemania for a million a pop if he wanted to.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
If Dana lets him
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
I think there's mutual money (a lot) to be made there....
I don’t forsee Dana blocking a deal with Lesnar popping up on a few random wrestling appearances, over a contract that Brock is in no place to fulfil (with Zuffa)
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Yeah, I don’t think it’d be a problem either. Dana has hinted as much. Just nitpicking, it’s not only up to if Lesnar wants it or not, per se.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
A quandry for your brains.....
To Brian’s point; could Brock Lesnar of Friday night beat today’s Chieck Kongo?
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
yeah.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Hmmm… Kongo does have underrated wrestling.
Yeah, what the hell. Kongo TKO round 1.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
Sure he could beat him.
But why would he want to fight him in the first place?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
I’d like Liddell vs. Tito 3.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the state of Chuck’s chin, there’s a chance that even Tito could knock him out, and if that happened I would have to retire as an MMA fan.
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
I would probably cut myself emo-style at least. And I’m not even a Chuck fan.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
It would be the saddest day in MMA history.
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
emo style.
win.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
You should get Neil on the phone for this one.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
It's ok Bishop, I know it hurts....
I’m seriously on the fence with that one.
You start to answer, and then think “what a minute….”
To close for comfort either way, that’s for sure.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Lesnar would beat Kongo,
but never understimate the mind and a fighter’s lack of desire to fight. It all depends on where Lesnar is in his head.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
You can't have Tito fight Chuck, cause if Tito knocked Chuck out, he'd never shut up about it.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
back to lesnar,
remember this article from a while back based on a bleacher report piece?
http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/9/1/2398210/report-brock-lesnar-ufc-career-uncertain-retirement
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
guess i should link the actual piece
http://themmacorner.com/2011/08/31/could-brock-lesnar-be-heading-for-retirement/
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
I remember that.
I also remember Fagan. plays violin
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Called it!
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
FUEL = FAIL
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Dear Matt,
(Insert generic form email)
Thank you,
(Insert contact center rep)
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Pretty much.
Sad.
xoxoxoxo to comcast
Matt Bishop - January 3, 2012
If you're a MMA fan you should have DirecTV
except for the period when Versus wasn’t on and we missed some WEC cards, DirecTV has always been the best place to get all MMA content, even in the UFC dark ages.
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
True...
especially with Cox, and their BS tape delay shennanigans.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
yep and also it has the eastern feeds of everything so we had all the spike and showtime stuff live.
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
Standard BS non-reply Matt.. I guarantee they won’t do anything else at all with your request other than send that pre-written reply. MAYBE they have some kind of system to tally up such requests in a database, but it’s unlikely.
Trust me, I’ve worked in that exact job position. Hah!
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
Dear Xfinity/Comcast customer,
We have no plans to promote a FOX owned property given our majority interest in NBC/Universal. That is all good luck.
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
They need FX and FOX, but help FUEL grow? Why would they?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
I’ll tweet you guys some play by play of Chael’s Corner tonight. Don’t be sad.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Chael's corner
I hope it begins with Chael sitting in front of a mirror saying to himself, “You’re Good Enough, You’re Smart Enough,
and Doggone It, People Like You…”
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Will he wear an “I believe in Sonnen” pin?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Bishop, send then another email. See if you get the same reply.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
Great idea!
Matt Bishop - January 3, 2012
I’ll have better acces to UFC fights this year here in the UK than most US based fans. Thank you ESPN/FX and UFC.TV!!!
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
NTSC>PAL
Let’s staart a REGION WAR!!!!!!!! :P
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
NTSC is superior. PAL has shitty ground game and weak chin.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
They also have no heart! Nerds FTW!!!!
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Comcast can't be a channel...
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
It’s an evil empire.
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
I strike the Empire back
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
DVR’ed it. Looks alright in terms of production.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
I saw the FSN Unleashed as well, same show, new graphics
Machida vs. Couture facekick has now been seen by all my family members who came over the weekend.
That was fun.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
We here in Region 2 get more UFC Fights
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Oh yeah!
And yeah Brian, a Pride 10 DVD from the UK won’t work on a standard US DVD player
forkboy - January 3, 2012
*to watch
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
Come on Bishop, Brian is still hitting those laser disks and VHS tapes.
mountaineers101 - January 3, 2012
I saw the FUEL marathon, the round table thing was cool
the UFC 79 replay video quality looked really bad.. but the graphics package in the new unleashed show was just like the graphics package in the first UFC Fox show… also, there was still the same amount of nu-metal crap music so I don’t think the UFC is abandoning their nu-metal vibe like we assumed.
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
My Pride DVD is inter-regional....
suck it!!
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Don’t you mean it’s just not region-locked?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Use VLC guys. Watch it on your PC's.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Oh no, sir....
I mean inter-regional, for my pleasure.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Just watch it with VLC player, dude.
Stop worrying about regions and whatnot.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Hmmm…. that seems to imply non-retail, questionably licensed digital content…
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
No. Buy it legally and watch in on your PC.
Nothing illegal about that.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Or does VLC player just ignore region locking?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Per Wikipedia:
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Thanks!
Didn’t know about that.
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Glad I could help.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
I watched the “UFC Champions Roundtable” with some Jay Glazer as host and Jones, Liddell, Mir, Griffin talking shit for half an hour. It was okay I guess, exactly what you’d expect really. FUEL TV.
(although I got it from torrents)
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
I loved how Forrest clowned on Mir for enjoying tennis
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
Yeah, that was pretty funny. Although really, nothing wrong with liking tennis, perfectly fine sport.
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
I like tennis.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Do you own many pairs of white shoes?
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
No...
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Cool, just breaking balls....
for whatever reason, that’s my first thought when I watch more than 5 minutes of tennis in one sitting.
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Dude, I watch female tennis. Easier to follow. And prettier.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
There's men's tennis?
haha
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Jon Jones is such a rectangle...
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Viacom owns 40% of Bellator, they signed War Machine.
Bellator will do what Viacom wants
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
They have a “controlling interest.” What do the other owners have?
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Roger Huerta injured himself during a scramble. War machine got lucky.
MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO! MEXICO!
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
Roger Huerta: beats up guys who beat up women.
War Machine: Beats up women.
War Machine beats up Roger Huerta? MMA math at it’s finest!
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
That just gave me vertigo...
Hafta sit on it a bit…give me a moment…
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
War Machine is 12-4
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
also his last win before Huerta was Zach Light
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
15-4 if you factor in his porn brawl.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
if you do that you need to adjust brett rogers' record and add a couple wins to it
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
But the porn brawl was against many people.
That makes up for their lack of training.
Strangling your wife hardly achieves that level of concentrated proficiency, I’m sorry.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
I’m just waiting for Joe Rogan to say someone’s got their opponent in a “Rogers choke.”
Machiel Van - January 3, 2012
Of course he is on wikipedia!
He’s a star!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Machine_%28fighter%29
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
I once saw a pic of War machine on a porn site.
I was too afraid to click on it.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
But you came back later and did anyway, didn’t you?
Horselover Fat - January 3, 2012
No. I ran, man.
I ran as far as teh back button would take me. And then I Alt+F4 just to make sure.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
aaaaaahahaha 143 is still falling apart even more
They need to put Hettes against Poirier.
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
Grispi was a huge step up for Poirier
Rob Young - January 3, 2012
Karl Amoussou is in the next Bellator WW Tourney
http://mmajunkie.com/news/26797/karl-amoussou-joins-bellators-season-six-welterweight-tournament.mma
MattParker117 - January 3, 2012
It will end in 2012.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
About fucking time. Fuck this world.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
Shit...we ARE in 2012.
I’ve used that joke for so long. I dunno what I’m gonna replace it with when this next end of the world goes the way of the rapture.
Unabomberman - January 3, 2012
There's always another date, another time.
pud333 - January 3, 2012
To the moon, bitches!!
SteveevaD - January 3, 2012
Thanks everybody for listening!
