The UFC has signed Canadian knockout artist, Chris Clements, and he'll make his debut in Montreal on March 24th against journeyman, Keith Wisniewski, at UFC 145, according to topmmanews.com:

After four consecutive wins, Chris Clements has finally reached his goal of making the UFC. Clements is set to fight Keith Wisniewski at UFC 145, as confirmed by members of Clements’ camp to Top MMA News on Friday.

Clement was a student of the late Shawn Tompkins, alongside Sam Stout, Mark Hominick, and Chris Horodecki. A mainstay on the Canadian scene for several years, the Ontario native is known for packing some serious power in his hands, with a three-second knockout win in 2006 (the fastest KO in MMA history until 2009) among the accomplishments on his record. "The Menace" has also never seen a decision in his career, and all 10 of his victories have come via some form of knockout. Most recently, he's riding a four-fight winning streak, including a TKO over former UFC lightweight contender, Rich Clementi, just last week.

Wisniewski is among the most experienced veterans in the UFC with 42 career fights to his name, but he fought for only the second time in the UFC this past fall in a bloody war with Josh Neer that ended with the doctor stopping the fight due to serious cuts inflicted on Wisniewski. Although he'll have to be concerned about Clements's power, Wisniewski has certainly proven that he has a chin, as he's only be cleanly KOd once in his career, and that was back in 1999, courtesy of a Shonie Carter spinning back fist.

From now on when people complain about a story being not newsworthy

folks should point them to this post and say “It’s more relevant than this and I didn’t see you complain there.”

can we do a run through?

Here we go, I’ll play disgruntled BE’er #1 (codename Kaleb). And! Rolling….sound….action!

What, slow news day Haber?

What’s wrong with posting a fight booking?

Serra and Wisniewski are 2 tough guys too

42 career fights in the UFC but fought for only the second time in the UFC this past fall?
Forget Jon Jones’ 4 fights in 2012, Wisniewski is a fighting machine ;)
