Now that the UFC has taken care of the main event for their May 15th Fuel card and by booking Dustin Poirier vs. Chan Sung Jung, they're getting around to booking the rest of the card. They recently announced the addition of three bouts on their website:
Verbal agreements are in for a trio of bouts at the UFC event May 15 in Fairfax that feature TUF fan favorites coming in off the injured list.
TUF 7 winner Amir Sadollah will meet 11-2 Wanderlei Silva protege Jorge Lopez in a welterweight war. The matchup was originally slated to take place last weekend at UFC 143, but both fighters were injured during their training camps.
Lightweight Aaron Riley will throw down in his hometown against TUF 12 submission specialist Cody McKenzie.
Fans in Fairfax will also witness a middleweight matchup between 10-2 Dongi ‘The Ox’ Yang and 7-1 Brad Tavares.
All six of the fighters are coming off losses in their last bouts. Riley is also coming off a broken jaw that was suffered in his bout with Tony Ferguson at UFC 135. All three are expected to take place on the preliminary card, though the Sadollah fight could be placed on the main card, depending on what else gets booked. Here's how the card looks right now:
Dustin Poirier vs. Chan Sung Jung
Igor Pokrajac vs. Thiago Silva
Donald Cerrone vs. Yves Edwards
Tom Lawlor vs. Jason MacDonald
Jorge Lopez vs. Amir Sadollah
Cody McKenzie vs. Aaron Riley
Brad Tavares vs. Dongi Yang

Don’t give up so easy

This ought to be a very exciting main card
The top 3 fights all look like fun
19Miles - February 12, 2012
Well three fighters are heading for the unemployment line. My bets are on Lopez, Mckenzie and The Ox
MattParker117 - February 12, 2012
While Lopez hasn’t been doing well, I think that he may be able to beat Sadollah. Otherwise, I predict that McKenzie and Yang will lose their fights.
chrisbboy82 - February 12, 2012
Definitely read it like this:
Awesome fight.
Stiff Jab - February 12, 2012
Haha
I read it like that too, I was disappointed when I read it again.
KarateKyle - February 12, 2012
Well they'd finally be giving Sadollah a really tough fight......
SSreporters - February 12, 2012
They've given him some tough ones
He has just lost them
Stiff Jab - February 12, 2012
Hendricks, Stun Gun, and Ludwig were all unranked at the time of their fights
Just because Hendricks and Stun Gun have become easy top 20 (Hendricks top 5) talent in 2012 doesn’t mean they were the same fighter in 2009 and 2010.
Jorge Lopez unfortunately is pretty much his level right now.
SSreporters - February 12, 2012
Ugh, McKenzie again? That dude brings out an irrational anger in me.
BVandDietPepsi - February 12, 2012
i don't take him seriously at all
but i always hope the guillotine hits
Cunny - February 12, 2012
He's walking proof
That only having one skill set, let alone a single go-to technique, isn’t enough to succeed at the highest levels.
Patrick Wyman - February 12, 2012
Cue Cody shit just got real gif...

DerSpiegel - February 13, 2012
And by “hear” I mean “here”.
DerSpiegel - February 13, 2012
Cerrone vs. Edwards
should be exciting.
KGW - February 12, 2012
I'm kind of worried that Riley is fighting again.
He’s had his jaw broken at least twice, and for some reason I get a feeling that it could cause long term speech problems, etc.
Andy Davis - February 12, 2012
Cody McKenzie's striking is pitiful
Riley won’t get his jaw broken again in this fight
SSreporters - February 12, 2012
Do'h,
I was confusing him with Aaron Simpson. There for a second I thought McKenzie had moved up to 185.
Andy Davis - February 12, 2012
Riley did have his jaw broken twice, though. Not Aaron Simpson!
You’re confusing me!
SSreporters - February 12, 2012
Lives 20 minutes away

I'll be there
I live in Arlington so I’m minutes away, and the Korean Zombie is booked? Consider the Poo booked as well.
nicey - February 13, 2012
They’ll keep scraping the barrel in order to get Sadollah wins, apparently
