This is unfortunately a picture, so go over to the UFC page and click on the real thing. Courtesy of UFC's Facebook page.
Unexpectedly, the UFC has decided to do a promotional giveaway of free access to UFC TV for a duration of three months on their Facebook page. Perhaps they envision a Love and War theme to this year's edition of Valentine's Day or anticipate some sort of MMA-sympathetic vibe from people gifting sweets, flowers and humorously gooey cards to their loved ones. from. Who know? Anyways, the process to get the free access takes less than five minutes and is laid out below like the fancy clothes you've set out for tonight's swanky dinner reservations.
The direct link to the Facebook giveaway page is https://www.facebook.com/UFC?sk=app_344899198875231. Hit that and the directions are clear and easy to follow. The rules of the giveaway require that one have a Facebook profile, click "Like" on the UFC official page, click on the Valentine's Day image that matches the one you see on the right here in this post, receive the code and then go through a short registration or log in process on UFC TV. That's it. You're all done after that.
What you are getting access to is essentially the UFC Video Vault, with all the old fights, unaired preliminary fights you've perhaps missed and so on, in return for them being able to send you e-mail updates (which can be unsubscribed from and usually aren't all that annoying).
Good deal. Now go grudgingly tell your loved ones that they're special and even though you know this holiday is hokey and artificial at times, it's still a great time to embrace togetherness - and apparently more mixed martial arts fights.
Edit: Have just learned that this may not work for those in Canada and possibly for those outside the United States. There was nothing readily apparent about geographic limitations and I hope it goes through for you if you attempt the process.

HaterSlayer - February 14, 2012

im John Elway for all the UFC knows right now
justsomehawkeyefan - February 14, 2012
Does this include everything on ufc.tv
Including ppvs for 3 months? I imagine not since that would be too good to be true. Woulda been cool if they showed ellenberger sanchez tomorrow on there, for all the people that have comcast. Like myself… :(
the mexicutioners #1 fan - February 14, 2012 via mobile
No to PPVs. Basically it’s the prelims, old fights, Countdowns and so on.
I’ll poke around the site after grappling class tonight and get the exact limits of what’s available, then report back to you.
Ben Thapa - February 14, 2012
Thanks, much obliged!

To quote the FAQ:
“Full events, live or replays, are not included in the UFC® Library subscription. The good news is that, with your subscription, all of the unaired prelims and many of your favorites from past events will be available as individual fights.”
Ben Thapa - February 20, 2012
Unrelated but......
Anderson Silva will be on FOX Sports Radio at 430 Pacific time to do an English interview and they are giving away the new Video Game.
clarkkentpunch - February 14, 2012
The should quit interviewing him in English. Just get him a translator.
dancingChicken - February 14, 2012
I signed up,
although it is probably just Anonymous hijacking the site and now they own me. Shit, I should have thought it out.

Is the promotion code not working for anyone else?
It says “A Product is required in order to use promotion code.”
doubleleg1 - February 14, 2012
Yup!
It’s saying the same thing for me! Not sure why…?
Lunchbox15 - February 14, 2012
Same here
McEwen - February 14, 2012
I sent an email to the helpdesk
Will let you know what they say.
doubleleg1 - February 14, 2012
They gave me some suggestions
None of which worked. I replied describing what happens in further detail and asked if being in Canada is a problem.
doubleleg1 - February 15, 2012
You NEVER
ask an American if “Being in Canada” is a problem.
TorQus - February 15, 2012
IT WORKS IN CANADA
For those of you Canadians who tried to sign up yesterday, I contacted the helpdesk with my issue and they fixed it. It works now.

Stiff Jab - February 14, 2012
mine only worked when i followed the links from facebook… when i dropped my window and went directly into the ufc site, it didnt accept the code… i went back and followed the facebook links to a slightly different page and the code worked
also, the page didnt like chrome so i had to use firefox. could have been my add blocker though.
Stanlee - February 14, 2012
I got the same thing
Are you guys outside of the US as well? Maybe it’s that. I’m in canada and often these promotions are ip adress dependent.
Not Hauser - February 14, 2012
If you're in Canuckistan then it won't work
HaterSlayer - February 14, 2012
Goddamn it
8 out of 12 times this always happens with these. 80% of the time!!

Stiff Jab - February 14, 2012
Dang, I did not know about the limitations. I’ll put a warning note up in the post above to let Canuckistans know about the possible no-workee.
Ben Thapa - February 14, 2012
Any chance
That the Fuel show from tomorrow will be added soon?
ZapRowsdower - February 14, 2012 via mobile
Well that's a better Valentines gift
Than the tearful masturbation session I had planned.
I will postpone that until after I watch some sick fights.
Jaspawokki - February 14, 2012
"tearful masturbation"
instant classic.
heymanhowsitgoing - February 15, 2012
This is awesome
I’m going to finally watch fights that I have never watched before.
Can’t wait to see how Franklin took seven rounds from Loiseau.
discoandherpes - February 14, 2012
Just great. Happy that I kept my old ‘blank’ FB account in addition to remembering the pw
The One Who Wears The Crown - February 14, 2012
When I select my region as 'United Kingdom' it says that you can watch the card tonight on UFC TV in most parts of the world
Reckon this is because Fuel would be virtually impossible for us, and on the events page itself says that ‘You have access to this video’, although I have to wait until the show starts. Selecting the region as US however it doesn;t mention it as being watchable on UFC TV, so it seems that outside the US this deal does get u live events in full.
UK MMA MAN - February 14, 2012
I'm starting to get pissed off about this..
Why do Germans and Brits get UFC shows for free and I don’t (Netherlands)
Chris P. Bacon - February 15, 2012
It works for me in the Netherlands but you need to follow the link they give you..
You have to click ‘redeem’ and enter the code there, if you skip this and go directly to ufc.tv it won’t work.
Chris P. Bacon - February 15, 2012
what’s the deal? I thought they had all the old fights and prelims, and whatnot, but the selection seems pretty limited. Thye’ve only got 2 Palhares fights (luckily one of them was the one I was looking for) none of the Machida fights before Ortiz… seems like no prelim fights before UFC 125 are available.
Not really complaining about free product, but is this the same amount of content that people are usually paying for, or just like a partial “sneak peek”?
Grappo - February 15, 2012
has it finished?
cant see it on that link anywhere?
swiftman - February 15, 2012
This is pretty cool
Never saw Franklin vs. Loiseau before. Watching Franklin beat up Loiseau was epic. Some judge scored it 50-42.
Clay Guida has to hold some sort of record for having the most wins by as little offense as possible. He gets hit a ton, gets a takedown and wins the fight. It’s pretty amazing. How any judge gave Guida a card in the Sanchez fight is beyond me.
BJ Penn vs. Sherk is just as good as I remember it.
I’m loving it so far.
discoandherpes - February 15, 2012
First post-worthy?
I guess it’s more that I finally went through the steps to activate my account and this is really the first post I’d have a chance to throw in on, but better a ‘thank you’ post than .
I spent a good chunk of last night rewatching Jones’ fights from Gusmao to Bader again as well as several other classics from the UFC50-70 range. Good post.
