UFC 144: Edgar Vs. Henderson Countdown Show Full Video

The UFC has released the full video of Countdown To UFC 144 to promote Saturday's UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson event, taking place in Japan. While seven fights are making the main pay-per-view broadcast, they focused on four specific bouts: Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson, Quinton Jackson vs. Ryan Bader, Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Jake Shields, and Anthony Pettis vs. Joe Lauzon.

Here's how the UFC describes each of the four bouts:

Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson: "The most unlikely UFC champion meets the former WEC champion in a battle between two true athletes. Watch lightweight champion Frankie Edgar fight Benson Henderson live on Saturday, February 25."

Quinton Jackson vs. Ryan Bader: "Former light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson relishes the chance to return to Japan and his PRIDE-era fans, but Ryan Bader isn't intimidated by fighting a legend... he's done it before."

Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Jake Shields: "Japanese superstar Sexyama drops down to welterweight as Jake Shields plans another run up the ranks of the 170-pound division."

Anthony Pettis vs. Joe Lauzon: "Two lightweights with flashy finishes to their names will face one another - hear what bonus-hunter Joe Lauzon and human highlight reel Anthony Pettis are doing to prepare for what could be the most exciting fight of the year."

Watch the entire 45-minute preview after the jump.

Showtime kick == win a title shot you never get

WEC either way so doesn’t matter to me

This was the worst countdown show ever from the UFC. They basically made it the Ben Henderson show.

Maybe they're trying to make up for the fact that his last fight wasn't even aired in the U.S.
Sorry to disagree with the Sexy

but Jake Shields is NOT a perfect figther.

but he is gifted in the art of eye poking, joe.

After watching that

I’m most interested in the Anthony Pettis vs. Joe Lauzon fight.

Pettis/JLau

Should be one of the best fights on the card. Of course Bendo/Edgar should be sick as well.

I really don’t think Page/Bader or Sexy/Shields will be competitive at all

Nice

Good preview for the main event. Thought they did a good job showing edgar, and hyping ben

Rampage

is selling this fight for me
